2012 Seeding Update
|
Due to delay in posting of player seedings this week, these will not be enforced for any games on May 12-13th weekend.
Seedings as posted on the website are to be effective from May 19th on wards. As such no seeding related protests will be allowed for May 12-13 weekend games.

T-20 Champions Trophy
|
Canada T-20 Cricket league, proudly presents the Launch of T-20 Champions Trophy at Maple Leaf Grounds (King City).
Champions will be awarded $5000 cash + Trophy, Runner up gets Trophy.
Entry fee for the tournament is $1600, umpire fee is $50.
League approved Ball will be provided at discounted price by Hagee sports
Deadline For Registration is May 16. If you would like to participate in the Tournament. Please submit your team information by May 16/2012 at canadat20@gmail.com.

T&DCA announces new association with Kookaburra
|
Dear Members
In an effort to curb escalating ball prices without compromising quality of play, T&DCA has come to an arrangement with Kookaburra for continued supply of good quality balls.
Starting from 2012 season, T&DCA will be buying and distributing Kookaburra balls with a T&DCA logo stamp for use in all T&DCA games. Clubs are requested to send in their 2012 season ball requirements to Secretary tapindersingh25@gmail.com immediately or latest by April 15, 2012.
In order to minimize shipping costs, balls must be ordered in multiples of 12. As soon as balls arrive, clubs will be requested to pick up their orders upon payment by cash or money order only. Uncollected ball orders will be subject to a fine or financial penalty to the offending club
As per current match play rules, the following balls are sanctioned for play in various divisions:
For use in Elite, Premier & 1s Divisions
Kookaburra Regulation White 4 piece or,
Kookaburra Club Match White 4 piece
For use in 2nd, 3rd & 4th Divisions
Kookaburra Regulation white 4 piece or,
Kookaburra Club Match White 4 piece or,
Kookaburra Senator white 4 piece
In order to use up any left over old stock of Kookaburra balls, clubs will be allowed until July 1st, 2012 after which T&DCA logo stamped Kookaburra balls will be enforced by the Umpires in all T&DCA games.
Kookaburra makes very good quality cricket balls ideally suited for our games and T&DCA is happy to endorse their use. For a video of how these legendary cricket balls are made, please click on the attached link.
